<script type="text/javascript"> <!--
// New/No new PM button in menu
// Text to show there are new private messages var newPM = "New PMs";
// Text to show there are no new private messages var noPM = "PMs";
var pmLink = document.createElement("a"); var pmCell = document.getElementsByTagName("td").item(2).innerHTML;
pmLink.href = "index.cgi?action=pm"; pmLink.className = "pmbutton";
if(pmCell.match(/you have <.+?>, (\d+) /i)){ switch(RegExp.$1){ case "0" : pmImg = document.createTextNode(noPM); break; case "1" : pmImg = document.createTextNode(newPM); break; default : pmImg = document.createTextNode(newPM); } pmLink.appendChild(pmImg); document.getElementsByTagName("td").item(5).appendChild(pmLink); }
//--> </script>
<style type="text/css"> .menubg .button{ margin: 2px; color: #000000; font-family:tahoma; font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; } .pmbutton{ margin: 2px; color: #000000; font-family:tahoma; font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; } .titletext{ margin: 2px; color: #000000; font-family:tahoma; font-weight: bold; font-size: 8pt; } .button{ margin: 2px; color: #000000; font-family:tahoma; font-weight: bold; font-size: 9pt; } </style>
<script type="text/javascript"> <!--
/* Convert Buttons to Text by hpmad Do not repost or modify without permission from creator For more codes like this one go to: [url]http://talkpark.proboards.com[/url] */
// these words are too long and may stretch the board var adjust = [ ['Advanced Moderation','Adv Mod'], ['Search This Thread','Search'], ['Search This Board','Search'], ['Add Bookmark','Bookmark'], ['Send Topic To Friend','Send'] ];
var img = document.getElementsByTagName('img'); for(i=0;i<img.length;i++){ if(img[i].src.match(/s\d+.images.proboards.com/i) && img[i].src.match(/(\/buttons)|(search2)|(newpoll)|(\/menu)/i) && !img[i].src.match(/_sm\.gif/)){ img[i].alt = img[i].alt.replace(/(\[|\])/g,''); for(t=0;t<adjust.length;t++) if(img[i].alt.match(adjust[t][0])) img[i].alt = adjust[t][1]; var font = document.createElement('font'); font.className = 'button'; font.appendChild(document.createTextNode(img[i].alt)); img[i].parentNode.replaceChild(font, img[i]); i--; } }
//--> </script>
i want the reply with the modify and quote changed to text, and new thread on the post page changed too. i dont have bookmarks anymore, i reinstalled my software the other day and im just keeping my codes in my external <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* change position of posting buttons and add reply button by california */
var replyButton="http://www.4d5.net/v4images/buttons/reply.gif";
var td=document.getElementsByTagName("td"); if(location.href.match(/on=display/)){ for(i=0;i<td.length;i++){ if(td[i].align=="right" && td[i].vAlign=="bottom" && td[i].height=="20"){ var buttons=document.createElement("div"); buttons.innerHTML='<a href="'+location.href.replace('=display','=post')+ '"><img src="'+replyButton+'" border="0" alt="[ Reply ]" /></a> '+ td[i].firstChild.innerHTML; buttons.style.position="relative"; buttons.style.top="4px"; td[i].firstChild.style.display="none"; var ipCell=td[i].parentNode.nextSibling.nextSibling.cells[0].firstChild.rows[0].cells[1]; ipCell.appendChild(buttons); } } } // --> </script>
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* 'new thread' button next to reply */ if(location.href.match(/board=(\w+)&(action|thread)=/)) { var img = document.getElementsByTagName('img'); for(l=0; l<img.length; l++) { if(img[l].alt == '[Reply]') { img[l+1].src = 'New Thread Image URL'; img[l+1].alt = '[New Thread]'; img[l+1].parentNode.href = '/index.cgi?&board='+RegExp.$1+'&action=post'; } } } //--> </script>
this is the post page, the pm button is obviously on the top celebnook.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=celebsam&action=display&thread=1438

replace this
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* 'new thread' button next to reply */ if(location.href.match(/board=(\w+)&(action|thread)=/)) { var img = document.getElementsByTagName('img'); for(l=0; l<img.length; l++) { if(img[l].alt == '[Reply]') { img[l+1].src = 'New Thread Image URL'; img[l+1].alt = '[New Thread]'; img[l+1].parentNode.href = '/index.cgi?&board='+RegExp.$1+'&action=post'; } } } //--> </script>
with this
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* 'new thread' button next to reply */ if(location.href.match(/board=(\w+)&(action|thread)=/)) { var img = document.getElementsByTagName('img'); for(l=0; l<img.length; l++) { if(img[l].alt == '[Reply]') { nwlnk=document.createElement('a'); nwlnk.href = '/index.cgi?&board='+RegExp.$1+'&action=post'; nwlnk.appendChild(document.createTextNode("New Thread")); img[l].parentNode.insertBefore(nwlnk,img[l].nextSibling); } } } //--> </script>

I see "New Thread".. I just didnt class it like reply. do this:
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* 'new thread' button next to reply */ if(location.href.match(/board=(\w+)&(action|thread)=/)) { var img = document.getElementsByTagName('img'); for(l=0; l<img.length; l++) { if(img[l].alt == '[Reply]') { nwlnk=document.createElement('a'); nwlnk.href = '/index.cgi?&board='+RegExp.$1+'&action=post'; nwlnk.appendChild(document.createElement('font')); nwlnk.firstChild.appendChild(document.createTextNode("New Thread")); nwlnk.firstChild.className="button"; img[l].parentNode.insertBefore(nwlnk,img[l].nextSibling); } } } //--> </script>
