No one seems to be helping me anywhere I go so you are my last hope. For some reason my forum when you log out you can see recent posts if you know the link to the 10 recent posts on the forum. It's never done that before and my co-admin just noticed it a few days ago. I want to hide recent posts from guests (/index.cgi?action=recent) I visit the other proboard forums that are closed and use the same thing and you cannot view their recent posts. Can you please help me out here because my forum is suppose to be a closed forum. flairsplendor.proboards.comThanks!

first off.. let me say I appreciate being compared to Obi Wan Kenobe.
second.. 100 recent posts is a LONG page to download. you might consider shortening that to 25 or 30.
that being said.. I was looking at some of the URLs for the threads that showed up and most of them seemed like they were sub-boards. go back into all of you board settings and make sure the "View Board" is set to REGISTERED MEMBERS or guests will be able to see those boards.

let me add that its a common misconception that sub-boards inherit their parent board properties and that isnt true. your parent board might be set to REGISTERED MEMBERS, but unless the sub-boards are as well, they can be viewed.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the main category that was showing up...for some reason it set to Members AND Guest. The reason my recent posts is set to 100 is because there are games on the board and I don't want the members to miss posts, and most of the members use Chrome so it loads fast for them.
Thanks.
