How about a way to search a members post by date? We have contests that require active membership (postings) to win. So the contest holder needs to check that at the end of the moth. A way to check 01-10 - 02-10 posts for example would rock! I swear i bet i won't come requesting for at least a month after this!!! lol and no hurry if this is viable. ;D ;D

I doubt you are doing it wrong. the search feature on PB has always had issues. Martyn wrote a new version of it aand is using it on PBS, but I dont know when they are rolling it out to all the othe rboards.
unfortunately, you cant really write a new search feature for a board either. it would require accessing the server to get information which is against TOS.
you can also try using the google search at the bottom of the pages. put in the username and keywords and it will search your entire site for thosethings.
