www.w3schools.comthat is my go to source for getting definitions and examples of javascript functions. as to coding for proboards, the BEST way to learn how some things are done is to grab a small code from a database (PBS, socal, SZ, here) and pick it apart to learn what it is doing. by looking at premade codes, you will pick up how page elements are found so you can use them in your own codes. If you use a pre-existing code as a base for one of your own, its always appropriate to put into the code header that you modified an existing code or used it as a base. That way no one can come at you later saying to ripped it and claimed it as your own.
