just looking for anything that might be a contributing factor. The cinese character in the dialog made me think perhaps a chinese translation thing was causing the string to not be delimited...

Hey, I recently got Chrome and i started noticing that this code doesnt keep a cookie of the threads in Chrome. I know this isnt tested for Chrome, but do you think you can make it work for chrome also? If not dont sweat over it, its not a huge deal.

hmmm.. I will have to break out Chrome on my PC to check into this.. I thought someone said to me before that it worked in Chrome so I never dwelled on it.
to verify, it doesnt work on this site either for you?

as of now i honestly dont know what its doing. This site works right now yes... but yesterday when i checked here before i posted it didnt work in Chrome, but it worked in IE8.
As of now (on my site)i got the %20 for spaces in my thread titles and yesterday they didnt even keep the cookie when IE did. (IE isnt showing %20 now)
Um let me check to see if a script or two is messing it up. and ill post again if i find a change. But i cant tell you why for the past 3 days (thats when i noticed) they havent been keeping log. (at least on my site), i had only 4 codes on that site (as of yesterday) and they wouldn't mess the log up.

Nope idk what its doing. Its not any other code that i saw, and its working like this Lets say i looked at these last few threads 4th (last/latest) thread = ME 3rd thread = You 2nd Thread = Wormo 1st (First) Thread = Im Topeka it looks like this ME You%A6Wormo%25A6Im%252520Topeka undefined undefined With the correct time though. Uh heres el sito if you need it. and Just so you know topekat2.proboards.com/index.cgiThis is happening in IE too, and im not sure why. |

Im looking.. but Im not finding anythig useful. Chrome doesnt even sdave cookies for me in threadlog, so Im not even sure what is up with that.

yeah thats what happened to me. it didnt work for about 3 days and the day i posted it here it magically started to work.
And now its not working here. no cookie being saved.

Well without doing you latest change. i looked at it today, 10 min past midnight, and it seems to be working fine.
Do you still want me to do the latest change or see if this works for more than a day?

Yeah.. I was running tests ALL day in google chrome with this code. the only way I could get the cookie to work halfway at all was to change the expiration.
the original code had all cookies expire at midnight (requesters idea). I changed it to be 24 hours and it started taking the cookie better. basically.. if you dont visit the site in a day, the thread log will be empty. otherwise it continually holds it.

Well I put the lasted update on a different board and and both the "end at midnight" and "end after 24 hours" seem to be working fine. so yeah as of now its working great. Thanks Wormo
