when ive been moving threads they get put in the archives sub board all over the place and i cant find what i just moved. is there a way to put them just on top after theyre moved. i move like a whole page at once and its impossible to go looking for ones you cant remember the title to or just move one at a time and copy and paste into the directory. you cant figure that problem in top bar in the directory? would it just be easier to take it out and make a new one?

you mean the post that stays behind after you move a thread or the thread itself?

I think I know what you mean. I just tried moving around a thread from general to see what happens:
you click move thread thread gets replaced by a single post that says it has been moved a new thread gets created (brand new thread id #) in different board with your old thread data because board is sorted by creation date, thread gets placed in thread list based off its original creation date. yea, im not even sure they if they get replaced in whatever order because they are already rite next to each other in as a matter of creation date. its always the next down the list that would be moved, but doesnt show in the archives in the same order

alrite, if i can find a nice looking way to put stickies just as small links below my sub boards, ill keep all my archives in their orignal forum. cause im gonna have like 4 or 5 and all them stickies will look stupid. i cant think rite now, the freaking neighbors havent shut up all day or their mutt, but if you can think of anything. hiding the stickies, hiding the rest of the threads already in the archives. everyone elses code database threads is hidden somewhere, where do they put them

mine isnt hidden. its the top thread in the database. writing a code to hide all stickied threads wouldnt be hard however.

i meant all the threads in the database. like SZs got like 4 pages of submitted codes that never got submitted, and where are the codes in the database
i think id want do announcements too they would still have the forums id tho?
i guess i was wrong, they have like 45 pages of codes. but if you could hide the stickies you could hide the original threads couldnt you. i just want to have a clean couple of pages of recent threads and not have people bouncing around in page whatever when they can just go to the archives

i just brought the table issue in this thread cause i didnt want to be all over the other thread <center><div width="92%"><table align="left"><tr><td>stuff</td></tr></table></div></center> where would that go <table width="300" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" align="center" class="bordercolor"> <tr> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="100%" class="windowbg2" vAlign="top" align="center"> <font size=1><b> <a href="http://celebnook.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=celebsam&action=display&thread=1556">Rules * Thread Titles * Proboards Terms Of Service</a><br /> </font><b> </td> </tr> </table> and i only want it to show in the thread page, since its in my board footer its in the post page too celebnook.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=celebsamcould you get it as far down close to the sub boards as you can but not so close. and closer my table above

and the table i have in the post above affects todges code that attaches the navigation to the thread list. all of the other boards are fine

the the navigation supposed to be attached to the top table then? browsing it looks like the navbar is attached to the top box except where there are sub boards.

alrite i i said that wrong, they attach to the bottom of the sub boards in the thread page, i only have the table in a-m celebnook.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=celebsamthe thread page has the navigation under sub boards so its closer to the threads and can be seen and accessed quicker

I have no idea whether this thread can be closed or not..
the original problem of keeping them grouped together after they are moved: the only solution to this I could find was to bump all of those threads before moving them. they all get grouped next to each other at the top of the original board. THEN move them to the new board. they wil stay next to each other.
Then some new issues came into this thread that I'm not sure are still issues or not. It gets confusing when you do that. what are the remaining issues and can you number them?

1. "writing a code to hide all stickied threads wouldnt be hard however". id like this, i assumed you were doing it. it would have to include announcements
2. <center><div width="92%"><table align="left"><tr><td>stuff</td></tr></table></div></center>
where would that go
<table width="300px" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" align="center" class="bordercolor"> <tr>
</td> </tr> <tr> <td width="92%" class="windowbg2" vAlign="top" align="center"> <font size=1><b> <a href="http://celebnook.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=celebsam&action=display&thread=1556">Rules * Thread Titles * Proboards Terms Of Service</a><br /> <font size=1><b><a href="http://celebnook.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=celebsam&action=display&thread=2403">A Thru E Archives</a><br /></font> <b> </td> </tr> </table>
and i only want it to show in the thread page, since its in my board footer its in the post page too
