My Board : www.brawldomain.comWorm, you're my only hope. I got this code from here. socal.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=PBCODES&action=display&thread=7125It's an amazing I code I need, cause all my skins differ frpom one another. The problem is, I've added everything correctly; got the new drop down menu, can add H/F'ers to different skins, but when I do so, The codes I add to those skins shows up in HTML format. The codes don't actually work. I'm gonna provide you with account info, cause i can't have this skin as the default, so when you use the log in info, it'll immediately have that skin selected for that member so you can see what I'm talking about. I appreciate any advice you can give. I was wondering if the code just doesn't work with PB's anymore.

this is most likely going to involve installing the code on a test site to see if I can duplicate the error. I have a different method for CSS per skin so I dont use this code.
I will see what I can do on the test site.

Well, I have it on a tested site. So it seems i have some code conflicting with it, or something. The code is because I have a few cutsom skins, but need some images, and settings separated. I have it working perfectly on this test site, bdbluetest.proboards.com/index.cgiAnd, if I'm not mistaken, you actually helped me before, with a code that does separate H/F'ers wihtout this code.

Well I have 2 kinds of "skins affected" codes. 1 of them is currently running on this site, and what it does is allow for specific CSS for specific skins.
The other code I wrote, allowed you to set up a specific head/base/whatever images for specific skins. That code was useful if you were going to use the same images for several different codes. it made the images global variables you could just refer to in those other codes. ----
the cali code is both simple and complex in how it works. it sets up XML divisions and uses the code to basically turn them on and off. whatever is inside of an xml division wont run if its style is set to hidden. if you are seeing code appear on your site, its possible that whatever was entered into the xml division has a bad opening/closing tag.

The text diplay of the code is gone, but, now. The skin is done, but one thing, it looks great on EVERY single page, except the ( main, admin panel, pms, profiles ) which tells me it's main header/footer conflicting with it; but i can't figure the problem out. Been at this for about 7 hours straight.

it looks like the "different header/footers" code doesnt like THIS part of the forum remodel: <script src="http://h1.ripway.com/smangii3/cilverteckcopyright.js"> /* Cilver Teck Copyright, by Smangii smangii.proboards78.comThis code cannot be removed if layout is in use */ </script> since it is a remotely hosted script, and it says you arent allowed to remove it, it would seem the only course of action you can follow is to ask smangii himself for help. It apparently doesnt like the HTML that he made for the copyright.

Actually, that's from an old skin that doesn't even get used anymore. I can remove that and delete the skin, and it's corresponding codes. But I'm still not sure if that would solve the issue. Right now, the only 2 problems I'm having. Is the category names won't center into the header image, and the background image won't center in the backround. that's the only 2 things i need fixing, and it's killing me ;D I've tried everything. I really do appreciate you taking the time to look over it, bud. That meant alot.

When IU ran FF error console the error I got was directed at that piece of coding. That piece of coding is causing the "different headers" code to stop running. since that smangii code is ONLY on the main page, then only boards that see the main footer were affected (which is why boards looked fine).
if you dont need that code because you dont have that skin, go ahead and remove it and I will check again.

currently I see the background centering in both IE and FF.
what code are you using to center category titles?

This mama jamme right here
<style> <!-- body { background-position: center center;
} --> </style>
And, what i did with the Shmangli header, was since it was for that one , unused skin, I just placed all the codes, even the ones you helped a few months back that redirected the codes just to that one skin .... intpo that skin's H/Fers selection. And that skin was fixed .... along with the new one.
I'm so happy bro.
The only thing now, is I had to use the forum resize code in the "all forum" global footers, so, it's affecting the other skins. I'm trying to work around it now.

well at least you got that part the way you want it. I still dont see a code to center category titles unless its part of some other code.
