You are missing the colorsmear engine in the global header.
that first code is the engine function. it has to be in global header to make any of the other colorsmear codes work.

I swear when I looked at your source the engine wasnt in there. its one of the first things I check since its so crucial to make the other codes work.
I just checked now and I see it.

what is that user's custom title supposed to be? there is a bunch of stuff under the name. si it hellhound? there is a profile link in there as well...

The color-smeared name is supposed to be Dark Prince. I removed the color smear BBCode from it so that it didn't appear there.
Also, while I'm thinking about it, I noticed that the colorsmear doesn't work when someone adds a smiley in the text between the tags. Is there any way to fix this?
EDIT: I don't think it works when a quote or code tag set is present in between them either. |

the test thread on this board allows images and smiley faces to be in the middle of the string. you have the most current version of the engine right?
