at the very top of the post you are putting smear in a code tag, put this:

without the asterisk

I got the username smear to work. Cool by the way.
however I can't seem to get the text code to work.

it wont work in THIS thread if you are trying it here. I have it shut off for this thread because it kept trying to screw up the posted code itself.
do you have the global footer code for putting colorsmear in posts? there are 5 or 6 codes in the OP. one of them gives you the ability to put smear in a post (as well as a UBBC button)

I did have the rainbow but I took it off figuring it would interfere.
But yeah I have the footer one. The one with the picture and the post.. Wow that sounds horribly dumb.

Actually it happened again.. The time it worked was on my member account.. I tried it on the admin and it didn't work.. Weird huh? I just realized this today when I was posting thread close in rainbow for fun. On the admin account of course.

um it wont work on my site wormo, its in sig and in threads it doesnt work after i post. it says [smear:*w/e*] *whatever* [/smear:*w/e*]
not [smear:FF0000]whatever[/smear:00FF00]
