Hello, First off I want to say that I love your Plug-in's for V5, I've downloaded quite a few of them and find them quite easy to configure! Now I was kind of sad that I haven't found a plug-in for this situation yet, though I've found similar plug-in's that just don't do exactly what I need done. You have a code for V4, as linked below, to allow a member of the Administration to revoke an individual member's right to have an Avatar or Signature, so I'm wondering if this would be possible on V5 via a plug-in? I find that this would be useful for random Administration accounts that don't really need a mini-profile picture/status, and for those frustrating members who just don't understand when you tell them to remove something offensive from their profile graphics. Please let me know if this is possible, and even if I am missing this feature in V5 already somehow, it is quite possible that though I've been through every inch of the site, I've missed something as I am definitely not the most code savvy. Thanks for your time and consideration, Cupcake Previous Thread for Avatar/Signature Permission Code CLICK ME!

Also, and this has just came to mind. If you are able to take the option to have an avatar or signature away from certain members, would it be possible to fully remove the avatar box on the mini profile so that it doesn't even show the proboards default avatar?

I might be able to do that too.. but first make sure the first part is working. I submitted a update to the library so keep an eye on it. I will post if I see it gets accepted.

Yay! I can't wait to test it out, thank you so much for taking up my request! Once I get my site up and running, I'll definitely have the Wormcodes Fan banner on my advertising.

Plug-in updated, works great! The only minor issues I see are with the wording, 'dont' instead of 'don't' or 'do not' for 'You dont have permission to have an Avitar/Signature' etc. (Sorry I tend to hone in on grammatical or spelling mishaps, unless it is with my own writing xD). Also, in the edit screen for Administration, some of the wording is cut off a bit, doesn't fit in the space allotted maybe? And one of the little ? bubbles to explain a setting overlaps the setting explanation, making it difficult to finish reading unless you know what you are looking for.
Otherwise, the updates are awesome, and I really appreciate the work you've done!

I cant control the plugin settings screen. you have to make a thread on support about that.
also I tend to drop apostrophes because a stray apostrophe in javascript can kill a code.. so when you throw one into a word like don't and forget to escape it, the whole code stops. I just never put them in out of habit so I dont have halts.
I spelled avatar wrong?

Ahh okay, no biggie, just figured I'd point it out just in case xD
As I said before, I am so not code savvy, so thank you for letting me know that in case it ever pops up for me!
And no, you didn't, I did actually lol
But yea, code is working great!

so now the next thing is, you want to remove any default avatar, or any avatar from someone who already HAS one that you rescinded their permission?

Yes! I mean, the pro-boards blank avatar is kinda...strange looking with custom site themes, so having the option to not have an avatar at all would be awesome. Whether it is just a blank space or the mini-profile is shorter doesn't really matter, just so long as it doesn't have a box at all if possible.

what if they had already chosen one, and then you took away their permission?

Some joins your forum. they choose an avatar. then you select them to not have avatar permissions. what happens to the avatar they are currently set with?

It gets deleted? Or maybe just stored in preferences in case the user is allowed an avatar at a later date?
