No it counts the time from seconds to hours etc. Look at the demo and watch the clock tick.
Called a live clock.

yeah.. a live CURRENT time clock... continuously... so I think we are saying the same thing...
anyways, yeah you can do this, just have to download the .js file at the bottom and copy its content into the footer or a plugin. you would still need to insert the placement script tag so it knew where to put it.
the body.onload() thing I wouldnt do or you will overwrite any handlers already attached. you could just put the function call at the bottom.
do you have webspace you can store the .js files?

I have a godaddy server that I put PDFs on my FTP file hosting there. Right now I just work up, got my head out of the sand and realized that V$ is leaving for god by December. I am the admin on one forum and a administrator on another and I've got two test boards I working on to make like I want before I convert, opted out on both of them so I can learn this system.
If this time clock can be done on V5 and the hosting site I have will work then I'm all for it but I've got other codes now I want to ask you about, some are even your old codes so I'm going to start new threads and ask about them.
I would love to see this work and iof it can then I'll go for it.
Worm I've come a long way in a year, when I started my forum I thought what in the world have I got in too! But I'm a fast learner and love cool things for my forums.
I haven't even tried or know how to do what all are calling plugins yet but I'm sure with people like you I'll learn quick.
One of the reasons I want to get my test site in good order is to let my members look at them and get the feel of it a little before we convert. A lot of my members only know the old system V4 and I'm afraid will be overwhelmed with the new V5 so I'm going to try to make it as much like the old V4 but yet have all the goodies of V5 too.
