unless they approve my request in new features, this wouldnt be possible. the board info isnt stored in the link anymore.

I was mistaken, the request I made was for board-id to show up on a post results, not thread results.
a new request will have to be made for that. BUT, there is a thread for template variables already and perhaps it can be added to that thread that the board id (or better yet the name) be added as a template variable on thread listings so it can just be pushed in that way.
