wormer can you please just help me with this table problem it was fine, i added the row on top and everything got crazy. i have an opening and closing tr and td i looked it over, i just added a simple row. theres all those closings on the bottom, the first part of the table doesnt look rite, i tried stuff, theres duplicate stuff, stuff todge did like 2 years ago thenotablenook.freemessageboards.com |

before you get too far iunto that board, you know freemessageboards.com is just temporary right? they were only put out so people could beta test V5. now that V5 is out, they will be going away.
Ask in support if you dont believe me.
I will have to look at the tabvle when I get home from work.

yea i know that, im changing stuff and i can export the theme and put it on the new one
i think all the layouts and css goes with the theme or i can just copy them and put it in the new one

well i moved the row to the bottom and think im having a problem with colspan or something
the left td is all the way over on the rite
and this i dont undertand, if i take the second line of duplicate stuff out i lose the rite td

well I have to commend you on getting a lot better at watching your tag nesting. I see 2 problems right now. they cause a nesting error, so lets remove them first. here is the code with spacing added in:

the first bit in red, the tags are closed in reverse order.
the second bit in red, is a double table tag. you cant have that in HTML.

lets look at what you have setup. you open a table, with 1 row, and 3 cells across
the first cell is 50% wide, and has a few chunks of just text/links
the second cell is 25% wide, and literally has nothing in it
-the third cell is also 25% wide, and has:
- a div element - with a link in it
- some text
- a table with 5 rows, 2 cells in each row. each cell contains 1 link
- another table, with a width of 1300px (I would remove that), and 1 row, with 2 cells
- the first cell has a div, and inside the div is a list. each list element has 1 link
- the second cell also has a div, inside the div is a list, each list element has a link
first off.. why do you want to force that table to be 1300px? its just going to stretch its parent container out to 1300px as well. you cant have it break out of its container.
if you want that table to stretch across all three columns of the main table, you will need to add a new row and give it a colspan of 3. see that LAST </tr> ? that is the close of the 1 row of the main table. you need to start a new row right after that. then add a new cell and give it a colspan of 3. then insert that table (without the 1300px width part).

the second td isnt aligned rite and i tried valign="right" but that did nothing. i have style="padding-left:665px; and its where i want it but it seems dumb to have that in there. what else gets it to the rite
