I have good question, would it be posible to combine "Change Post Destination" and "Multiple Predefined Templates" codes so they work together. I like the aspect of designing a form to suite my needs and also to place that post where I want it. This can work like a help desk type of form where you can direct it to a closed board setup for staff only. then the staff member replies as a pm. I would also like to see this as a plugin for v5.
If this is posible for now can I get someone to combine this for me. I tried to change positions in headers and footers and it didn't work either way.
Thanks and God bless

well it should work if destination is ran before template, BUT you can only use the forceboard mode. you wont be able to do a drop down.

Well you I think that might work. Will I be able to design the form?

the predefined posting template completely rewrites the form so running it second will probably be a better choice. does it not show the template?

Im curious though... have you tested what happens if you have it redirect a post into a board that a member normally doesnt have access to? because I dont think proboards will let that happen. the board has to be accessible, BUT it can be hidden so they wouldnt normally see it on the main page or forum jump.

I'm not hiding it. I have viewed by staff only. It seems to be working fine. By the way how is this against the TOS? It is merely a staff board for planning events and site questions ect..(staff stuff)

no no.. not against TOS. I mean the software might not let a regular member submit a post to a board that they cant normally see. I dont remember if I tested that or not. but if have tested that it works, then apparently its all good.

I thought I might personalize it a little. Some things may not pertain to other members eyes. It's like a pm in a way but other other staff can help with the work load through that board and archive it. I hope that explains it. I also have help desk that does the same thing but the form is different.
