Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Once upon a time, there was a [MadLib=ADJECTIVE] girl named Goldilocks. She went for a [MadLib=VERB] in the forest. Pretty soon, she came upon a [MadLib=NOUN]. She knocked and, when no one answered, she [MadLib=VERB PAST TENSE]same as a verb but in the past tense[/MadLib] right in.

At the table in the [MadLib=NOUN], there were three bowls of porridge. Goldilocks was hungry. She tasted the porridge from the first bowl.

"This [MadLib=NOUN] is too hot!" she exclaimed.

So, she tasted the porridge from the second bowl.

"This porridge is too cold," she said

So, she tasted the last [MadLib=NOUN] of porridge.

"Ahhh, this porridge is just right," she said happily and she ate it all up.

After she'd eaten the three bears' breakfasts she decided she was feeling a little [MadLib=ADJECTIVE]. So, she walked into the living room where she saw three chairs. Goldilocks sat in the first chair to rest her [MadLib=NOUN].

"This chair is too big!" she exclaimed.

So she sat in the second chair.

"This chair is too big, too!" she whined.

So she tried the last and [MadLib=ADJECTIVE] chair.

"Ahhh, this chair is just right," she sighed. But just as she settled down into the chair to rest, it broke into [MadLib=PLURAL NOUN]more then 1 of a noun[/MadLib]!

Goldilocks was very tired by this time, so she went upstairs to the [MadLib=NOUN]. She lay down in the first bed, but it was too [MadLib=ADJECTIVE]. Then she lay in the second bed, but it was too soft. Then she lay down in the third bed and it was just right. Goldilocks fell asleep.

As she was [MadLib=VERB ENDING IN ING]regular verb that ends in "ing"[/MadLib], the three bears came home.

"Someone's been eating my porridge," growled the Papa bear.

"Someone's been eating my porridge," said the Mama bear.

"Someone's been [MadLib=VERB ENDING IN ING]regular verb that ends in "ing"[/MadLib] my porridge and they ate it all up!" cried the Baby bear.

"Someone's been sitting in my chair," growled the Papa bear.

"Someone's been sitting in my chair," said the Mama bear.

"Someone's been [MadLib=VERB ENDING IN ING]regular verb that ends in "ing"[/MadLib] in my chair and they've broken it all to pieces," cried the Baby bear.

They decided to look around some more and when they got upstairs to the [MadLib=NOUN], Papa bear growled, "Someone's been sleeping in my bed,"

"Someone's been sleeping in my bed, too" said the Mama bear

"Someone's been [MadLib=VERB ENDING IN ING]regular verb that ends in "ing"[/MadLib] in my bed and she's still there!" exclaimed Baby bear.

Just then, Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears. She screamed, "[MadLib=EXCLAMATION WORD]!" And she jumped up and ran out of the room. Goldilocks ran down the [MadLib=NOUN], opened the door, and ran away into the [MadLib=NOUN]. And she never returned to the [MadLib=NOUN] of the three bears.

Wormo...there's a bug. I clicked the link to "View Posts" and it didn't show them. I clicked back and forth on the thread but it didn't show the post or even the links to "play" "view" again. Had to use the no headers trick to be able to post this.

Using Google Chrome to view on Windows Vista Ultimate. (Not sure if that makes a difference with this code or not.)

if there arent ony previous replies then it doesnt show anything. which is what happened for you. you clicked to see the replies and it permanently removed the play button because you cant play once you have turned on the replies. if someone were to play after you clicked it, you would see their reply then.

right. the original post doesnt count as a reply. if everyone could see the original post wihtout playing, they would see where the words get inserted. then when they played, they would just insert words that made more sense. part of playing madlibs is that you have NO idea where the words will end up.

what the intention is, is you PLAY the madlib, then you can see all the replies from anyone else that has played.
