would it be possible for a code to find the most viewed threads, whatever amount of threads in the last 24 hours or whatever amount of time
im not sure if ive seen this requested ever. if it can be done id either need a code you can just place in a table or somehow where i can just put links to the info in a table somwhere
id just want the thread title and the board its in to the rite of it and the amount viewed on the left before the thread title. with only the thread title being a link not the board. and Most Viewed Topics In The Last 24 Hours above it or whatever. but im guessing it cant be done

nothing that javascript can do... that kind of information just isnt accessible. HOWEVER, you know about the "Access Analytics" in the admin panel right?

i never really look at anything, im never really in the admin thing because of sudevos code, i wouldnt look at it anyway i just wanted something i could put there people could look at, not a link to a stats site
i know you hate when i do this, move this thread or whatever, wrighty had a code one time, related threads, it appeared underneath quick reply but it didnt really work rite. thread titles or anything in the thread. you could do that, wrighty was good, but it didnt work rite im sure you could do better
you moved, was it because your compay wanted to relocate or you just wanted to

codes that store data like that would all have to be written with a more complicated language then javascript, AND externally store the data. Wrighty had the storage and know-how to do those kinds of things, whereas Im sorta stupid on those languages. you might be able to find something using google that lets you display what kind of hits you are getting on a site, but I dont know if it would display by page title or by URL.. displaying by URL wont get you anything useful to display to the public. I look at access analytics from time to time to see which codes are being looked at more often to determine if maybe they could benefit froman update.
I was relocated by my company to a difficult territory that no one else wanted. mainly because of the amount of movie premieres and research screenings the theatres have here. they take up a lot of my time and make other tasks difficult. In vegas, I had trained up my apprentice to the same level as I was, and between the 2 of us, everything was flowing smoothly. smoothly enough that either one of us could be lent out to other territories that needed help without vegas suffering. as much as its great to have vegas sans problems, the company wanted to get someone out here that wouldnt be overwhelmed.. so they could hire a newbie for it. I have been a tech for over 10 years and have been keeping the fires at a low flame since I got here. I feel bad for my cohort in vegas though since now he doesnt have the luxury of taking a weekendoff without having someone right there to cover (his new backup is out of san bernadino)...
