This is directed to Eton Bones but not limited to him.  Got a Grease monkey/Firefox script for getting alerts/notifications like facebbok does within tabs? Just curious if its possible for proboards. Thanks.  |

Proboard 4 forums are static, once the page loads that is it no dynamic changes are made, so such a script although possible (auto-reload at intervals to see if new data available) would be against TOS and more importantly flag your IP as possibly initiating an "attack" on the server.
When V5 releases though then AJAX could be used to grab fresh data, so we'll see then...
