Well...
When Yahoo first introdued their Instant Messenger, I tried to make a new account but every name I came up with seemed to be taken. I didnt want to have a name with a number in it.. so I got out a dictionary, turned to a random page and found the work Worm. I did it again and landed on Metropolis. I joined the 2 words together to create Wormopolis.
since then I think My name has appeared in a childrens book, and as the name of some device on a worm farm.
I started using Wormopolis in 1995... and now the name is in the strangest places on the internet...
I dont have any fascination with worms persé, but I do like themes I guess...
which reminds me I need to get rid of the 2 corner worms.. they bug me now...

I actually have a main page layout in the works.. I already have 3 remodels in the database (you can see them in action by clicking preview at the bottom of the post).
The one Im working on will be called "Hookworm"..

Well.. Im not sure what you were expecting.. There was no weird sacrifices to worm gods.. no ingesting of the wigglies.. no kinky stuff.
Just a dictionary and some randomness.

I've always been curious to how writers come with with their character names too. Somewhat like that I'd suppose, with a little "indian- step out of the TeePee and first thing you see- is what the baby is named) thrown in. Or driving along and see a street sign or town name. It is inventive.

Very. I really like the site. Great coding, and never too crowded to where you dont get the help you need. very laid back. Just my style  How did you get the links to your proboards on your posts? I want to get BAJA ONLINE TOURNAMENTS somewhere in my forum so it pops up when people use it in google. Can you help me out? |

You mean in your signature? If your forum is open for guests, googlebots will troll your site and pick up keywords. There is a Meta tag you can add, but I have heard it doesnt work all that well. There is also a link on google where you can just add your site manually... I will post if I find it again. |
