Okay, so seeing a topics with math int he title doesn't always bring people in, BUT this is interesting. No math involved for you to figure out (unless you want to try), so don't worry.
I am working on a paper (due tomorrow) for my Math and the Visual Arts class, in which we were supposed to select an artist from a given list and analyze their artwork mathematically. I chose (sort of) Paul Nylander. He creates artwork using computer programming and, well, math. XD I strongly recommend checking out his web site. Lots and lots of colorful pictures and even some animated ones. (Not a fan of the web site's layout/color scheme, but that's beside the point.)
Any thoughts or opinions on the work?

fractal math is "chaotic" to say the least.

Well, as an artist, I have to say it's interesting, especially since I can now make new things with fractals. (I just draw fractals, though. I still haven't figured out the programs, and I'm kind of avoiding learning C++.)
Granted, the math I use is much simpler than the programming stuff he's got on the web site. |

Those are pretty cool. I like the fractal polyhedron thing. XD Picture Fancy work it is. |
