Can a PM alert popup code be created or do we already have one?
What Im saying is you can already look at the pm box on this sit for example, click it, and see that theres a new message.
What Im asking for is a Real time popup that appears when you recieve a new PM. It comes out as clsoe to when the new PM was sent as possible. If it comes out a minute or few minutes after thatd be fine too, just as long as its close to when the PM comes out.
This ensures that members always know when theyve been PMed for those that never bother to check their PM box to see if they have new PM's.
Possibly customizeable style for the popup as well or something ?

nothing would be allowed that was real time, like if you were sitting there reading the page and a pop-up appeared that a new PM came in. That kind of code would be against TOS because it would require polling the server.
There is a setting in your profile preferences that will do a popup on each page load if you have a new PM.

So wait you change the page and then the message appears because thered been a new pm since youd been on the previous page? If so thatd be good enough.
