I tried using this code a few days ago. It had errors because of our head/base images.
It couldnt resolve the head/base images and left the images below the post where the content moved to.

that is the fault of the head/base code. It doesnt check if the post is hidden before it sticks the images before and after the table, so you end up with head/base images surrounding a hidden table. there is no way I can rewrite automerge to account for every instance of head/base combinations that could occur from the variety of codes out there that add them. the post splitter code has to be modified to NOT insert umages if the table is hidden.
