Ever thought about applying games to real life to get things done? My boyfriend is currently working on research related to that, and I've started working on something myself. What I've begun to do is apply points, or XP, to certain tasks, from doing a homework assignment to taking the stairs instead of the elevator. After you get so many points, you level up! It's a work in progress, but I think it'd work a whole lot better if I was doing it with other people.
Ever thought about trying it?

ummm.. isnt that what "weight watchers" is? you get points for doing and eating healthy things, and lose points for doing the opposite?
I dont know if there are levels though...

I think that's kind of what they do, but that's less of a game. XD
Having levels and achievements and rewards helps it feel more like a fun game, in addition to having friends play with you. It's simply supposed to make everyday things better.
