Ok, so I installed Smangi's side table HereI've been trying to figure out how I can get the first side table where it says welcome to even up with the login. Right now one is slightly higher than the other. I'm sure it's probably something really simple.

so move them DOWN (because you have that image that says "down" above the boards)?

no that was a question. I wasnt sure what you wanted to align them to. if you want to move them down to be aligned with the forum we can do that

yeah at first I thought the welcome part of the side table should be aligned with the top of the news fader, but then when you said that about the top button I thought well ok maybe it does align. If it were moved would that wop everything up? Also I was wondering the down button and the up button don't appear to be centered. Well the down yes, but to me the up looks slightly off. Personally I would rather have a text code instead of buttons. I came from Jcink boards and they have that option in their wrappers. I always get a request for it because when a forum gets so large most don't want to scroll.
Ack, also I seem to have an extra bit up above the nav bar which doesn't belong.

move the "down" button to be before the start of the side tables. its currently centered to the main forum.. because you have it after the side tables start. so its centered to the space NEXT to the side tables. move it above the side tables and it will be centered to the page.
find this
<table width="75%" cellspacing="0px" cellpadding="0px" align="center"> <tbody><tr> <td valign="top">
add breaks after:
<table width="75%" cellspacing="0px" cellpadding="0px" align="center"> <tbody><tr> <td valign="top"><br><br>

That worked beautifully, thank you so much. In the image I just added see the narrow part where it says forum on top of the other? That shouldn't be there.

I moved it but it didn't change. And didn't it state that the BAF had to go on the very top of global header? Also that can't be it because I don't have the same problem Here

any code that modifies the welcome table should go BEFORE the welcome table gets moved. that code was the first one I saw. Im still looking for where that bar is getting added

Can you move the subdevo code above the BAF start so I can see what effect it has on the HTML?

I can do that. I was just going to copy the codes from the other over, but then I thought, that doesn't show where I made my mistake. Ok, one more thing. When you go to click on a category and it takes you to that page, the whole size of the table is different from the main page and looks all squished together. See what I mean from the above picture? Also, I took out the side tables in the other forum and everything looks better, so it's the side tables that are the issue with BAF code from the looks of it. I've resized the BAF and it is better. I may look into a different kind of side table and see what happens. Sorry i'm being such a pain, and I really do appreciate the help.

you know what it is? its the rectangle ad! you have some other codes modifying the first table after the first table has been moved.
1. move the codes that affect welcome table above the BAF code 2. switch to leaderboard ad

I can't believe it was anything that simple. Usually I check the settings and stuff on the other board before I move things. Didn't this time. Thanks so much for all your help. You're a peach.
