I just added a bit more so it will put the hide on the right side when its on the left. otherwise it looked weird.

I dont understand how it could be in the way. on my screen its more then half an inch away from the edge of the tables...

Maybe something that is fixed or floating drives most people nuts. Think about it with people that wear glasses. There is a big smudge on one of the lens and you want clean it off but in this case that smudge is the floating box and you couldn't get rid of it until now.

well perhaps I could just make side tables and a user legend and staff dropdowns and border around forum and make the site look like 99% of all the other proboards sites out there.
THAT should attract some attention...

I don't know why people like side tables so much. That would be even more clutter we don't need.
Well I've been thinking and yes the box does have some use but it's just not useful all the time. Me personally and possibly the other members here hardly ever use it so it's nice to be able to hide it when we don't need it.

Im sensitive about the float box. Its one of the few things on this forum that makes it different.

I'm not saying to completely get rid of the box, I'm just saying make it be able to show/hide for other members on the forum to add to the user friendliness which is what you did. It is handy, just not all the time.
