What am i doing wrong? The ''mood'' shows up when i look at them in profile but if i try to set it i just get letters and numbers and no image. That is all Im seeing in there as well.
so lets run through the ringer here. You say the drop down appears in the modify profile, but doesnt save?
list me ALL the codes you have that do something on modify profile. its sounding like one of them is overwriting the submit event.

yes, it shows the drop down and shows the image after you select it, but when you save it just shows numbers and letters.
I will try to see what all is does something in profile. I just suck at knowing for sure. So i will list anything that affects the profile at all or that i am unsure of. lol

the numbers and letters you are seeing arent from that code however. this code stores in the signature. Im not seeing anything in the sig.

I have moved the code around like crazy thinking it just needed to be above or below something but no luck.
Oh , i and i think that string is from taking that code in and out because it says if i remove it it will leave behind junk in the personal text.

are you sure about that? the code you put in OP stores in signature. when it sores it stores as:
{=}URL TO IMAGE{/=}
then when it looks at posts/profiles, it looks at the signature to see if something like that exists and erases it from sig, and puts the image over in MP. the stuff you have showing up in your miniprofile right now is from OTHER codes it seems. did you remove other MP codes recently?
as for the current problem, Im looking at my profile on your site right now to see if I can locate the logic interruption.

I was sure about it til i just went back and read. It is stored in sig. Anyway, idk what that code was from, but can be deleted and noting happens. :: shrugs
Honestly, i need to go through the codes and clean out. It would make finding solutions a lot easier. Thing is there are things there i have no idea what they are for. LOL

I just tested second avatar code with mood code on a test forum and they both worked together. I am not seeing which code is keeping mood from inserting into signature.
at this point it might be quicker to disable 1 code at a time to see which one is keeping the mood from working.

I give up on this. I took all codes out and added one by one. Nothing seemed to staop it from working for me (but not other members) then suddenly it would just stop. If i go through code a again i may have to have shock therapy. |
