• Description •The script is much similar to the one already on the forums. (Convert Poll Into Contest) however the one I am requesting requires modification by masta wormo Here is how it works...These are the dynamics of the script requested• Includes a confirmation box or button that is clickable. When the button is clicked it automatically assigns a pre-defined group to that user. (The button's text should be defineable as well) * If its a clickable box the defineable text should appear to the right of it. • Instead of the script saying its a poll it should be blank or defineable. • The confirmation box or button should be placed under the text associated with the newly posted poll instead of being at the top of that posted thread. • Options should be set for admin and two pre-defined groups to view all poll applicants and the link should be named "View New Applicants" or should be definable within the script. Also there should be an option to close the poll with the link being named "Close Registration" or defineable within the script. Also, any user removed from the forums that has clicked the box or button should be removed from the polls user list. This poll should only be viewable by "Registered Members & Guest" and pre-defined user groups. • Only pre-defined user groups can view applicants or close the registration. • When "Registered Member OR Guest" click the box or button the default text returned to the guest should be "Thank you for registering... our staff will approve you shortly." Well, I think everything was covered... if you are able to make this script it sure would save me time on critical task required by the admin and staff. Good Luck Wormo... if you need any additional information please let me know

There is NO way a code could be written to assign a membergroup to a user without going through the modifyprofile page. and even then ONLY members with that power would be able to do it.
• Instead of the script saying its a poll it should be blank or defineable.
This could be done.. since that is basically a predefined posting template anyways. but what would be submitted to the post?
• The confirmation box or button should be placed under the text associated with the newly posted poll instead of being at the top of that posted thread.
That is doable..
• Options should be set for admin and two pre-defined groups to view all poll applicants and the link should be named "View New Applicants" or should be definable within the script. Also there should be an option to close the poll with the link being named "Close Registration" or defineable within the script. Only members you have defined as a group with powers to view poll voters would be able to SEE poll voters. closing a poll, I believe, already has a button, so that could just be moved. There is no way to determine if someone who has voted is still a member or not.
• This poll should only be viewable by "Registered Members & Guest" and pre-defined user groups.
saying something can only be viewed by both members or guests kinda leaves no one else...
• Only pre-defined user groups can view applicants or close the registration.
see above
• When "Registered Member OR Guest" click the box or button the default text returned to the guest should be "Thank you for registering... our staff will approve you shortly."
that can be done easily with an alert.
maybe I just dont understand the scope of the request?
