that link isnt to a profile. to get that link, dont click the "my profile" button in the menu. find your name in the info center and click on it there. link should end with user=name

I did and i swear it fixed. I saw the avatar. Then i went right back and the avatar isn't showing.

somehow you have set an avatar for that profile. but its a blank one. when you look at the modifyprofile, do you see a URL listed?

i forgot to set the default pb avatars to false like i had before so i did that just now. The blank one is pb's one. Then i deleted the url from that profile and it just keeps coming back. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I think we can fix that actually... in the avatar gallery code, find this line:
avImg.id="AVS_image"; avImg.src="http://s4.images.proboards.com/avatars/blank.gif";
change that URL to whatever you wan tthe default to be.

done, but still not showing. idk wormo... maybe i just take off the default avatar and leave it at that.

the default avatar code looks to see if there is already one there. try this. go into the modify profile. erase the url that pops up for the avatar. click the test button. then save the profile.

It worked! It didn't put the default in any old member but i made a new name and there it was! wohoooooooooooooooooooooooooo thank you!

old members will probably still have the "blank.gif" avatar attached to their profile. if you modify their profile and check the "none" box, it should erase it.
