ok that code shouldnt affect quick reply whatsoever... in fact it has NO hiding feature to it at all, it simply checks for a page link and scrolls the page down.
and now I dont see it in the footers anymore...

Yeah, i don't understand it. I have a backup i took today before i ever started deleting any mods to see if they conflicted with this and when i restore with that i still don't have the post box in QR.

ok, i deleted all mods, took the space from the word display and it works and i have quick reply back!
But with the mods the post redirection does not work so i guess it is back to deleting each mod to see where the conflict is?

Im not seeing a conflict either..
you could try putting the jump to code above the hack manager footer.

well, closer... it now goes to the 2nd post above the last instead of the very 1st post. haha that seems silly i know but it's doing that. edited: at one post will it is posting you see it pop down to your last post then once the page is finished loading it goes to a few above the new post. I am heading to bed. Again. thanks for saving my butt earlier.

this might require splitting the code into 2 parts then...

actually.. it does it here too, forum resizers cause that to happen. whent he page loads, its where it should be, but then the forum resizer changes the shape of the tables and causes it to redefine where the scroll marker is.

Hmmmm, so is there a way to fix that , as in not have it resize?

well if you have a forum resizer code you can just take it out.
if you dont have a forum resize code, do you have a guest friendly board I can post in?

yes there is a guest board. It is the 2nd one. I am looking through the mods and so far i don't see a resizer. Thinking i need to get rid of some . does having many mods slow the loading time down? It seems as though it would and has.

put this at bottom of global footer:
<script type='text/javascript'> <!-- // Go to your post after posting. // Original code created by CrAzY_J // New Version by Wormopolis
if( location.href.match(/display&board=/)) { if(!location.href.match(/#(\d+)/)) { window.location=location.href.replace(/action=display/,'action=gotonewpost'); } else { pst=RegExp.$1; if (document.getElementsByName(pst)[0]) document.getElementsByName(pst)[0].scrollIntoView(true); } }
// --> </script>

I have one last thing to do on that one to make it work when you modify a post. currently it will go to last post instead of the one that was modified.
