yep. if you wanted more then one in a post you would definitely need the g in there. your regexp looks correct to me. if you want to convert that to plugin, go right ahead. My opinion on plugins is they typically are codes that require some sort of user input to change how they work. so if you wanted to add in something to force a div height or something for some reaon, you could add in a plugin variable for that that they can fill out. but if you are just doing a simple conversion like this code does, then a footer code works just as well and doesnt consume a plugin slot.

So the way I would go about installing this would be the older v4.5 method? Global Footer? Plug-in may be a good idea because what about creating a button like say this? If such a thing were to be added to this code, the button should be customizable yet have a default icon:

That would be another reason to go the plugin route. but I will tell you now adding buttons to the BBC button tray isnt as easy as it used to be. When you have something, let's give round two testing a go!

I dont know how to do it yet. otherwise the button for colorsmear would actually work correctly.
