I'm looking for a code that at first shows the picture of the member. Then when you hover, it opens to show a box (with scrolls) to show comments from a staff member. I want to use it for my Spolight side bar on deadcatalyst.freeforums.net/ I don't like the way it looks right now so yeah.

yeah its the comments part that makes this difficult. you have to store the comments somewhere, meaning you need not only space on the web to host the data, but also someone capable of writing code to interface that space.

Is it not possible to make the comments similar to the Staff Sidebar? Having it in the Global Footers and you can just replace (or edit) the text whenever you need to?
<img src="http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag143/ZTAquarius/CoWvo-1.jpg" align="right" border="3" class="stafficon1"><div class="navig1 a"><a href="http://deadcatalyst.freeforums.net/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=shikeimasuta">SHIKEI-KUN!</a></div> <div class="navig1 a"><a href="LINK">Character's Name</a></div> <div class="navig1 a"><a href="LINK">Character's Name</a></div> Hi there. I'm Shikei. But people call me Shi. It's pronounced Sh-ee. So don't get any stupid ideas please. I absolutely love anime. And my favorite genre. Is zombies. But I'll watch almost any kind of anime. Well. I'm an age you will never find out. Mwahahah! And I love to dance and sing. It's like my favorite thing to do I also love to cook. And I'm rather good at it. But that's enough about me. <br>
This is one of the staff icons along with his/her description about themselves. Is it not possible to make it like that?

you made it seem like anyone could add in their own comments. are you going to type all the comments yourself?

Oh yeah! Only people who can access the Global Footers can edit that one comment.

ok well THAT is more doable. how many pics are we talking here, and do you want them in a vertical line or displayed someway special?

Well on my website, on the right side at the bottom marked Spotlight is where I want the boxes to go. I need around 5 of them and I want them like this. 1. On top of one box should titled "Character of the Month" then another should have "Thread of the Month" then "Member" then "Staff" then "Couple of the Month" I'll need it to follow a dark red "#b30000" <<That color. 2. Now the picture should fill up the box at first. 3. When you over, it either fades or opens up like on-the-edge.proboards.com/index.cgi <<<On there. I have no preference really I just need some animation. 4. And then BAM! Words from me or someone else who can control the Global Footers thing. (With scrolls as well. We might have a quiiite a bit to say.) And yup~ That's about it! Tell me if there's anything else you need.

I have to figure out image transitions first. I can make it simply vanish the overlay image but I suspect you want a fade-out. and where do you want the scrolling div to appear in relation to the picture?

I'd like the box to take place of the picture itself. So when you hover over the picture fades to show the box (same size as the picture) will scrolls

Nope! The picture is there at first then the box takes it's place. You don't see the picture inside the scrolling div.

I think the example is what confuses me. it has one image that moves out of the way to show a different picture. you want it to show the normal picture and fade to the div.. gotcha

Yeah pretty much~ I just need titles along with it that's all. Like "Member of the month" or something. I didn't need animation for that

Oh my! I didn't expect it to be done so soon. Thank you! Hopefully you'll find that "bug" in the code ^^
