Grrr. Internet explorer doesnt seem to be loading the image for the background. Is it loading for you ?
Firefox loaded it no problem. It went to the appropiate width although it seemed to push the content more to the left.

It defintely seems to be having an error in internet explorer. Doesnt load the image at all. On firefox it seems like it blurs the image in the stretching which may go away when we put a proper width image in. However its definitely moving the table to the left, specifically the movie image. I made a test for 310 width here: cloudianpublicity.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=movielocations&thread=10021 and it shows the problem. Not sure what could cause that.

it wouldnt stretch the background image making the table wider. it would just repeat it.
IE isnt showing bg for me either. Im wondering though, instead of both atrb in the same cell, maybe try one in each cell. see what that does.

Well I dunno but it looked blurry to me on the right end in firefox.
Does it matter which cell they go in ?
Ill try the image atrb in the first cell and the other one in the second.

try combining them into one atrb tag
[atrb=style,background-image:url(IMG); width:size,bTable]

well it did in FF.. IE doesnt seem to like the attribute at all. We might have to get Eton to intervene on this one.

you have a ) after the bTable
I must have looked at a different thread then because when I looked there were 2 atrb calls in each cell

You said: [atrb=style,background-image:(IMG); width:size,bTable)
I added ] at the end because I thought it needed to be there...

my fault then. it should have been just the bracket. does that make it work? Eton said he will look if he gets time, but he has a bunch of stuff on his plate right now. He said what I was getting at should work though.
