But the members here have their own boards. They come here to get code support and have you review them. So I guess my next question is: What is it about this board that people would desire enough to take on another board?

I done this on a site before and it failed. People weren't posting at all. Maybe it will work differently here.
I will post more details about it later on. Contests and such. Some rewards will be your own board (will end up being a sub-board in the community category. you can pretty much post whatever in it.) Custom Title, etc.
If anyone has ideas for more rewards let me know. This will be my next project.

I hope it works too.
Remember, Jah is Pro ProBoards as well as Pro v5! He is running on a Windows Platform but still appeals to the Linux crowd due to his Pro Coder approach. We're working on getting the Mac vote still. Then we'll tour the different browsers and appeal to each individually, especially in the I.E. states where he's trailing the popular vote. (But only by a small margin.)
