Can you give me an example of how it's going to look?

I almost had this but I messed something up.

basically, wherever you wanted an anchor tag that could be inked to, you would make a UBBC tag like:

[anc=name] where name was a unique word that a link above would go to. the code will convert that ubbc into <a name='name'></a>

then to create a link to the spot where that is, you would make a regular ubbc url tag, but with something like this inside:

[url="?board=codereqs&action=display&thread=109&page=1#name"]Go to below[/url]

I could also do a sort REVERSE footnotes code.. where it creates a sorta list at the top of the post to all the anchors below, and make the custom UBBC be like:

[anc=name,text you want to appear clickable]

that might look better.

Or basically, when I make a link, it makes a new windows. I would want it to stay in the same windows.
