Hi, just joined here, but I am familiar with you(wormo) from all the work you do on the Proboards support site. I have an issue on my forum that I'm really hoping you could help with. Just a minor annoyance really, but it's been driving me nuts that I can't get it fixed, even after numerous people helping on Proboards Support. I'm not the best with codes, and no one will walk me through fixing this, and I usually end up messing things up more. Forum is here: horrorsonline.proboards.com/Originally I was having trouble with a border around forum code. Got that worked out for the most part except the text at the bottom of the main page that says this forum is hosted free by Proboards... is shifted to the left. It's only on the main page it seems, and it may only be me that sees it. I was at my mom's last week and it looked fine on her PC, which is strange. It's driving me nuts for whatever reason, lol. Anything you could do to point me in the right direction would be great. And, if you wanted give an opinion on the forum, since it seems no one on the support forum will, that would be cool to. Many thanks in advance, endo [MÜD:cool]

ok so 3 problems i see off the bat. 1. you are missing the closing part of the BAF code. it never closes the table it creates so that is why everything is shifted wrong at the bottom. have a look at the BAF code where you got it and at the top of the global footer there should be a line for closing the BAF table. 2. the "legend in info center" code should be in the main footer, not the global footer. its only going to work on the main page anyways. 3. you have several unclosed images in your affiliates table: <center><a href="http://nexusdx.deviantart.com/" target="_blank"><img src=" i848.photobucket.com/albums/ab43/endo69/temp_banner_storage_by_nexusdx-d4nfeex.jpg" /></a></center> that red closing part should be at the end of every image tag. most of yours dont have it so it causes HTML errors. some browsers will close it for you but some wont so you should do it manually. check ALL the images in that table after correcting those 3 things come back and let me know the update

Thank you for the reply. I think I've taken care of everything you mentioned.
The closing part of the BAF code was in the global footer, but buried, so I moved it to the top. The legend in info center code is now in the main footer Added the ending tags to all affiliate banners
Still shifted to the left.

looking much better better HTML wise... ok so now at the very bottom of global footers, I see this:
<table width="1056" height="60" ><tr><td> <br /> <br />
it looks like the beginning of another affiliates table, but nothing follows it. do you see it too>

No. I don't see that at all. Last thing I see is the "go to post after posting" code.

wait a sec... go into your headers/footers preferences. do you have it so main footer is AFTER global footer? global footer should be after

Yes, main was set to first. Changed it to second and now the border is surrounding the info center and looking pretty rough, It did straighten the text below though.

OK, I see it now too. Delete that? Thanks again for all the help.
EDIT: Finally got up the cajones to delete that part and that fixed it!! The text at the bottom is now centered and everything is working. Thanks so much man, you fixed in a day and a half what I've been trying since June to fix!! Really appreciate it. You have a banner or something I can add to advertise this place for you?

One more question for you. How do you get your forum pic on the Firefox tab button? I see yours, and I've seen some others, but mine displays the ProBoards logo. Is it a code or something?
Thanks in advance.
