Any chance of a code that will resize the forum forms, eg register, new thread, reply etc etc
possible?

A regular resize should work on ANY table.. if the form is inside a table and you resize the table the form will shrink with it.
The reply to post forms on this site are all resized to 80%.

its not working for me I have done my basic layout and design but the forms stretch it all, how can i fix it?

The columns inside the form arent in percentages.. they are fixed numbers. They just happen to add up to wider than the space you want to put them in.

I saw Richies response. The registration table has 3 columns. the outer 2 are easy to resize.. the middle 1 is a bit trickier...

ok.. bad news is that the members table is that big mainly because the font size and the text itself is stretching it widthwise.
the only way to fix this is to decrease the font size throughout the table.
stay tuned I will see what I can work up.
that is one of the drawbacks of making such a skinny forum.. you have to sacrifice font scale.
